I have never seen a doc from HHS that actually says they recommend schedule 3, although I do remember a post on X from Becerra that implies it. These docs don't seem to call out schedule 3 recommendation either? The only thing I got from these (b)(5) docs was that bloomberg reporters may have actually seen the doc because they said in the breaking article that "HHS’s recommendation was based on an extensive Food and Drug Administration review of marijuana’s classification, Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levine said in the letter to DEA. The FDA considered eight factors that determine the control status of a substance and recommended that marijuana be placed in the Schedule III category. The National Institute on Drug Abuse agreed with the FDA’s recommendation, Levine said." And that is pretty close to the actual language in the letter. Kudos to Ike, Riley, and Tiffany
Sorry for intruding on your blog but I'm a very passionate cannabis cultivator and user. I have been currently working on an idea with an attorney out of Richmond,Va, Julie Currin esq., about a Federally regulated Canna-Med facility and would greatly appreciate any and all insight to help bring this idea to fruition. I would love to have a chance to communicate with Matt Zorn about possibly helping the idea reach the right hands in DC. I truly believe the idea is an industry changing purposal that will have states (currently outlawing Cannabis Industries) adopting and applying it's concept. My email is attached. gjoe55867@gmail.com
